Anas: No Plans for Pre-Trial Yet
TEMPO.COJakarta - Anas Urbaningrum’s legal counsel, Firman Wijaya, said that he had not taken any measures to plead for pre-trial of Anas’ case.

“There is no plan yet. [I’m] just bringing clothes and food to the detention center,” said Firman toTempo on Monday, January 13, 2014.
Last Friday, during a press conference at his residence, Anas Urbaningrum questioned the letter of investigation order (sprindik) issued by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). The letter, according to Anas, was questionable since it contained allegations of other corruption cases against him.
Firman said that among members of Anas’s family, his younger brother, Anna Luthfi, had come to visit him at the detention center. He also added that Anas was doing fine at the center.
Anas Urbaningrum was arrested by KPK on Friday, January 10, 2014, after missing two KPK’s summons. The former Chief of Islamic Student Association is alleged to receive bribery in the Hambalang project in the form of cash and a Toyota Harrier. The money was rumored to be used to win him the position as chairman of the Democratic Party during a congress in December 2012.
