KPK Make Moves on Other Lawmakers Following Sutan's Arrest   



TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Abraham Samad, Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), said that KPK will continue to expose a corruption on the 2013 Revised State Budget (APBN-P) involving the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. KPK has recently named Sutan Bhatoegana, a lawmaker and chairman of the Energy Commission at the House of Representatives (DPR), as a suspect in the corruption.
"The KPK will expose the case. Involvement of other DPR members is still being investigated," Abraham said at Balai Kartini on Thursday, May 15, 2014.
Sutan was alleged of using his position as a DPR member to receive gratification. He has been charged under Article 12 point (a) and/or b, and/or Article 11, and/or Article 12B of Law No. 31/1999 on Corurption Eradication.
