Pertamina Builds the Tallest Building in the Capital
TEMPO.COJakarta - Jakarta prepares to welcome the highest building in town, as the. 530 meters-tall building, which belongs to state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina, is currently on construction phase. The building will replace Wisma BNI 46, which stands 250 meters tall, as the tallest building in the capital.
The Pertamina Energy Tower will be located at Rasuna Said, Kuningan. Pertamina CEO Karen Agustiawan, stated that Pertamina will utilize the building as the company's main office along with some of its subsidiaries.
The building is designed to have 99 stories, in a total of 58.142 hectare area. The construction itself is set to finish in 2018. Once it is finished, the building will be capable of accommodating 24,000 personnel, with a parking lot that is available for 4,000 cars and 3,300 motorcycle.
