Thailand Beats Indonesia 4-1
TEMPO.CO, Yangoon - The Indonesian National Football Team suffered a terrible defeat against Thailand in the SEA Games 2013 group match yesterday. Thailand secured a victory by scoring four goals to one.
Persipura Jayapura's player Andri Ibo, received a major spotlight for making mistakes, allowing Thailand to steal two easy goals from Indonesia. Nevertheless, Andri managed to score a single goal.
"Indonesia lost on every aspect from Thailand," said former Indonesia National Team player Donny Pattinasarany.
The defeat reduces the chances for Indonesia to retrieve the gold medal. Currently, Indonesia sits on the third position of the group standings with three points out of two matches. In order to win the gold medal, Indonesia must defeat Timor Leste and Myanmar in the next two matches.
